The amp doesn't necessarily produce the tone that everyone is looking for, but those who know, know that the Roland Jazz Chorus amp is the consummate workhorse of the music industry.
They always work. They play well with pedals. They are clean, clean, as loud as they'll go. The chorus isn't too shabby either. And, the 40 is much lighter than its larger, more famous and much heavier big brother.
Any gigging musician who like vintage tube amps should absolutely have one of these as their backup.
