SALE PENDING. SN: 4984. Friends, here is a very finely crafted dreadnought with a big lush tone in showroom condition. The SCGC DP/W comes in many configurations and is one of the best values in high quality luthier built guitars. This one uses select East Indian Rosewood for the back and sides, a tightly grained Sitka spruce top with two scalloped tone bars. The neck is a full feeling 1 11/16ths at the nut with string spacing of 2 3/16“at the bridge. This was a player’s guitar but there’s only the slightest evidence of pick wear on the guard and no fret wear or fingerboard devoting. Neck shape is a slight V with a diamond volute that feels just right. Vintage style tortoise guard, small dot position markers, 18-style binding and rosette, ebony bridge and fretboard complete this classic look. The tone is big and warm with subtle overtones. The action is medium low with a full height saddle. Set up with a professionally installed LR Baggs Anthem Acoustic Soundhole Microphone/Undersaddle pickup and a strap button. Ships in a high quality, original TKL case.
