Body and bell: Vintage matte lacquer paint specification (only the bell inner is clear lacquer coated). Tuning tube, extractor tube, and rotary area are gold-plated. Instrument weight 992 grams. This signature model Gansch horn was commissioned by Thomas Gansch. Thomas himself often finger snaps and removes and attaches the mute while blowing during live performances, so he asked for a trumpet that would allow him to use one hand freely while operating the valves.
