Summary: Modern metal guitarists will find much to love in the Solo-II Blackjack from Schecter. Like all Schecter guitars, the Blackjack features the same streamlined design and killer appointments that you'd expect from a tone-heavy workhorse. The Solo-II Blackjack has a resonant mahogany body cut to a classic shape with a stunning black gloss finish complemented by a cream binding. A 3-piece mahogany set neck with ebony fingerboard offers incredibly smooth response for shredding fast leads and chunking heavy power chords. A pair of Lundgren M6 humbuckers deliver classic, gritty humbucking tone, but you can dial them into your specs given a variety of tone-shaping controls. And a TonePros T3BT TOM bridge with string-through body supports amazing sustain.
Body: Mahogany finished in a gloss Black.
Neck: 3-piece Mahogany with an Ebony fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.653” nut width, 12”-16” compound radius, 22 extra jumbo frets, pearloid line inlays, Graph Tech XL Black Tusq.
Pickups/Hardware: Two Lundgren M6 Humbuckers, TonePros Tune-O-Matic Bridge with Stopbar Tailpiece, 2 x volume, 1 x master tone (push/pull coil-split), 3-way pickup selector, Schecter Locking tuning keys.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition with just some very light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck is a satin finish in great shape and the frets are like new.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
