Excellent condition featuring one piece swamp ash body with clear nitrocellulose lacquer finish, figured maple pickguard, three Schroom Custom Guitar works handwound vintage spec Strat pickups, one volume control and two tone controls with black knobs, five way pickup selector switch with black tip, CTS tone pots, Orange Drop capacitor, StayTrem stainless steel bridge, flame maple neck with vintage tine nitrocellulose lacquer finish, 9.5 radius Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot inlays starting at the third fret and vintage tall frets, 25.5" scale, 1 3/4" bone nut, flamed maple peghead with Schroom Custom guitar Works logo decal, single butterfly string tree, six in a line Gotoh vintage style tuning machines, string through body construction with six metal string ferrules, four bolt neck fastening plate, flame maple electronics control cavity cover plate, Certificate of Authenticity and spec sheet, and molded plastic Fender hard shell case.

This exceptional Schroom Gremlin Gremocaster was expertly hand built in the USA by Tony Schroom in 2014 using the finest materials and top notch craftsmanship. This instrument is in excellent cosmetic condition showing little to no signs of play wear throughout (see photos). This guitar features a one piece swamp ash body that is nicely figured and extremely lightweight. This guitar weighs in at an incredible 5lb 8oz! It is amazingly resonant and it is very loud when played unplugged. You can feel this guitar vibrating against your body while playing it. This guitar has was built using string through body construction and with a Fender Mustang style bridge saddle, this guitar's intonation is spot on. The pickups were handwound by Tony and they sound spectacular in this instrument. These pickups are very articulate and snappy but are not overly bright or “ice pick” like. The electronics layout is very familiar and features one volume control, two tone controls and a five way pickup selector switch. The electronics used in this guitar are all top notch and I’ve included a photograph of the spec sheet. The neck profile on this instrument is that of a medium chunky rounded C shape with a 1 11/16” nut width. This neck feels incredibly nice in the hand - it is very comfortable and easy to play. This guitar plays absolutely superb up and down the Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with low smooth action. The fingerboard has a 9.5” radius and the guitar is a 25.5” scale. The Vintage Tall fret wire shows no wear. The flamed maple used for the neck is stunning especially paired with figured Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and the abalone dot inlays. This guitar is housed in a very nice Fender molded plastic hard shell case and includes its original COA and spec sheet from Schroom Guitars.
