Seymour Duncan is synonymous with replacement pickups. Seymour Duncan is now out of production, but they used to manufacture guitars/basses in Japan as a brand bearing their own name.
This burgundy-colored model is an active modification of the Traditional Series JB type.
The controls are master volume, PU balancer, treble boost, and bass boost.
The pickups are Seymour Duncan's SJB-1, which reproduce vintage jazz basses. The character that faithfully reproduces the sound of the wood itself with a sense of transparency has been retained in this modified version for a powerful sound output. The treble and bass boosts are good to add where they are lacking!
