2017 Squier Contemporary Telecaster Dark Metallic Red

Summary: The Squier® Contemporary Telecaster® HH is an outstanding choice for the modern player seeking progressive features in a guitar that that has authentic vibe and style. This particular guitar has a wonderful red sparkle finish & the matching headstock.

Body: Solid poplar body with a single cutwaway, 4-bolt neck attachment, Gloss Polyurethane red sparkle finish.

Neck: Slim C-Shaped maple neck with 22 narrow tall frets, 12” radius, black dot inlays, original Schaller style tuning keys, 6 individual adjustable saddles, 1.650” nut width, 25.5” scale length. The neck has a Natural Satin Urethane finish with Gloss Matching Headstock and a synthetic bone nut.

Pickups/Hardware: Chrome hardware, 2 Humbucker pickups, 3-way switch, one volume knob, one tone knob, 3-ply W/B/W pickguard, black dot inlays, original chrome Schaller style tuning keys, matching red headtock.

Cosmetics: There are a few minor dings on the body of this Tele but the red sparkle finish is really wonderful – the closer you get to the guitar the better it looks! The frets are in great shape & have most of their life left. Overall this instrument was not played a ton & it is in really good shape.

Playability: We set this guitar up with a fresh set of Dunlop 10’s and it plays and sounds great. The truss rod is fully functional & the guitar was pretty easy to set up. The action is low & the guitar plays great up & down the maple board.
