Description

Summary: This faithful and affordable recreation of Fenders 1950s Duo Sonic has just been setup and restrung with a new set of 10s and is playing beautifully. It is in excellent used condition, and has barely been played. The 3 way toggle switch has been upgraded to a high quality switch.

Body: Offset basswood body with a gloss desert sand finish and cool anodized gold pickguard.

Neck: 21 fret gloss maple neck combines a comfortable 24" scale with the modern playability of a 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets.

Pickups/Hardware: Vintage style tuners with white buttons, 3 saddle top loader bridge, AlNiCo V single-coil pickups with knurled volume and tone knobs and three-way selector switch.

Cosmetics: This Fender is in great used condition and does not look like it has been played much. There is one small chip in the finish by the nut, but no major scratches, dings, dents or structural issues.

Playability: Our in house luthier has just inspected, set up and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s and it is playing beautifully with low action and a straight neck. The frets are in great shape with no grooves or divots.

Modifications: The original 3 way toggle was replaced with a high quality 3 way toggle.

Weight: 6 lbs, 3oz.

Case: This Duo Sonic does not have a case but we will ship it professionally packed and fully insured!
