This is a super cool made in Japan Squier Contemporary Stratocaster from the mid 1980's! The HSS pickup configuration along with the on/off and coil switches provide plenty of tone variety. The Torino Red finish is also very striking!
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and small dents throughout the body with additional minor scuffs on the headstock. There's also a very small finish chip located on the lower side of the body near the strap button and there's a crack forming at the neck pocket near the upper horn. The frets do show quite a bit of play wear and are starting to lift up particularly as you go up the fretboard. This is causing some dead spots on the 15th and 18th frets on the high E string. Despite this, the frets are overall still playing well throughout the rest of the fretboard with very little noticeable fret buzz.
This guitar appears to be all original.
