This Squier is hot-rodded and ready to shred! Here we have a 1988 Squier Stratocaster that features a basswood body and maple "C" neck. It is nice and light (7 lbs. 13 oz.) with a smooth red finish. The pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncans. There are Lil Screamin' Demons in the neck and bridge, and a Duckbucker in the middle position. Together, these pickups provide plenty of tonal possibilities not usually attainable from stock pickups. The bridge is a standard vintage-style tremolo. The string guides have been removed from the headstock, and there are a few minor dings on the body. Overall, it is in good shape. The action is great and the strings ring clear. This is a great deal on a heavily upgraded guitar.
