Description

Maroon 5 James Valentine's 1967 Fender Coronado II Wildwood Semi-Hollow Body Electric Guitar, Serial #214099. This 1967 Fender Coronado II is a standout example of Fender's venture into semi-hollow body guitars, featuring a striking Wildwood finish. While officially a Coronado II model, the pickguard reads "Wildwood III" due to the unique color treatment applied to the body. The neck date stamp reads 19 JUL 67 B, marking it as a true late-'60s Fender. The Wildwood finish was a unique experiment where dyed beechwood was injected with different colors, resulting in an unpredictable yet beautiful visual effect. A rare and visually stunning piece, this guitar was owned and played by Maroon 5 guitarist James Valentine, making it even more collectible. 6.8lbs. Original hard case included. Condition: Very Good.
