Based on the elegance and simplicity of my main black Suhr modern, the instrument features a trinity of coordinated aesthetic details as an homage to my love of wood cheeked vintage synthesizers. The dark roast maple binding, aged clay inlays, and matching Suhr logo give a high-end vintage look, which is something I’ve always been visually inspired by. Minimalism has always been important to me when it comes to performance, so a lot of thought went into getting as much as possible out of the single knob, 3-way blade, and gain pad. Between these controls, an incredible amount of tones and gain stages can be achieved with precision and ease.”
