Presenting the Synergy ENGL Savage Preamp Module for use with Synergy Preamps and Amplifiers. Engl amplifiers have long been known as a premium example of boutique, high-gain tone. And a large part of that legacy is due to the esteemed Engl SAVAGE amplifier. From the moment it hit the scene in the early 1990s, guitarists the world over took notice of its ability to blend searing gain with a string-to-string clarity that stands as an industry standard. Engl’s Horst Langer has crafted numerous top-tier amplifiers that continue to inspire legendary artists such as Richie Blackmore, Marty Friedman, and Steve Morse. But it’s his SAVAGE that continues to stand on top of Engl’s lauded line. Never ones to ignore a classic design, the team at Synergy reached out to Horst Langer and asked him to focus the SAVAGE’s massive tonal palette and intense touch response into one of their incredibly popular Synergy preamp modules. And we’re proud to say, he nailed it. Not only does the Synergy SAVAGE preamp module give you a giant of an amp into a compact and convenient package, but thanks to two Gain Lo/Hi switches and a carefully sculpted Contour switch, you’re in control of an astoundingly flexible assortment of tones. CATHODE SELECT SWITCH: This three-position switch allows you to configure the input tube bass response to match the original circuit of the selected module. This will affect the feel and tightness. Each amp designer has a specific combination of components that make up their input tube circuit. The team at Synergy have selected the three most popular combinations which you can access with this switch. The module will come preset to Synergy's preferred setting which for the SAVAGE module is position 1 (1.5K resistor and 22uf capacitor). We ship most any order placed before 3pm CDT Tuesday through Friday the same day. Orders placed Saturday-Monday will ship the following Tuesday. For new products we will only ship to delivery addresses within the United States. Most pedals are shipped via Priority Mail. Guitars and Amplifiers are shipped via UPS Ground. Other shipping methods are available. Please contact prior to placing your order for shipping cost quotations to your delivery address.
The Guitar Sanctuary does accept returned items as long as arrangements are made for such within 48 hours of purchase/receipt. Returned items MUST be in the original condition and packing (including owner’s manual, un-used warranty card, any other items that came with the item) in order to qualify for a refund. No refunds are available for “special” ordered guitars or amplifiers (items that were not in stock, but rather ordered per the customers request. The customer is responsible for all freight charges and credit card processing fees incurred in the course of the sale. We cannot refund freight charges. The Guitar Sanctuary will charge a 20% restocking fee for returned effects pedals and amplifiers and a 10% restocking fee for Guitars. The only exceptions are for products that are defective. Please only purchase an item after you are certain it is right for you! Layaway: You can lay-a-way any product for a maximum of three months. Lay-a-way requires a 25% non-refundable deposit. We will not be able to ship the item until it is paid for in full and as a lay-a-way purchase, does not qualify for the 48 hour approval policy. International Sales: We can ship most guitars and other products internationally. We prefer money orders, cashier’s checks, or bank wire transfers in U.S. dollars.
