This absolutely mint 14 1/2 inch wide, 3 7/8 inch-deep, nylon strung 'classical guitar weighs just 3.60 lbs. Two-piece, spruce parallel-braced top. Nicely figured rosewood back and sides. Seven-ply binding on the top, three-ply binding on the back. Elaborate 3 3/8 inch diameter sound-hole with eleborate 'marquetry' rings. One-piece spruce neck with a huge classical nut width of just over 2 1/6 inches, a scale length of 26 inches and a medium profile. Rosewood faced 'slotted' headstock with three-in-a-row, rear-facing tuners with oval mother-of-pearl buttons. Rosewood fretboard with 18 medium frets. Bone bridge saddle on rectangular ebony base with 'marquetry' design. The serial number "78050061" is on a printed label at the end of the neck. Inside the sound-hole is the Takamine Japan label with model "0-128" stamped in black. This beautiful one-owner guitar - under the bed for forty-four years is in mint (9.50) condition. Housed in the original four-latch, shaped black hardshell case with orange plush lining (9.25). (#2306)
