Description
Summary: John Jorgenson has made a decades-long career from being one of the most gifted and versatile guitar players in the US. So, when he set out to design his signature Takamine JJ325SRC-12 12-string acoustic-electric guitar, his first demand was for it to be as sonically flexible as he is. Takamine achieved this feat by utilizing the unique properties of a solid spruce top with the bold tones of the bubinga used for the guitar's back and sides. And with its onboard Takamine CT4B II electronics, you can perform with the same JJ325SRC-12 that caries Jorgenson's legendary name.

Body: Solid Spruce top with Bubinga back/sides finished in a gloss dark cherry color.

Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 23.375” scale length, 1.875” nut width, 12” radius, 20 frets.

Pickups/Hardware: Takamine CT4B II Preamp with Palathetic Undersaddle Pickup, Gotoh closed gear tuning keys, JJ inlays on the fret.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition and shows very little signs of use.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.

Modifications: The white pickguard has been removed.

Weight: 5.525 lbs.

Case: This guitar ships in the original hard-shell case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
