Description
Summary: Taylor’s Grand Orchestra is the guitar equivalent of a grand piano, boasting a big, complex voice with a wonderfully dynamic response. Featured appointments include highly detailed inlays on the Ebony fingerboard, a beautiful rosette, gold closed gear Taylor tuning keys, along with Taylor’s Expression System 3 acoustic electronics. This guitar will come with a deluxe hardshell case.
Body: Maple back/sides, Spruce top.
Neck: Maple neck with a bound Ebony fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.75” nut width, 20 frets/14 open frets.
Pickups/Hardware: Taylor’s Expression System 3 preamp, Taylor gold closed gear tuning keys, Ebony bridge pins, black pickguard, bound neck and headstock faceplate, binding on top/back.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition. It has light surface scratches under and on the pickguard where some has been strumming a bit hard (See Photos Please). The back of the neck is clean and smooth, and the frets have worn slightly on the first few frets.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
