1998 Taylor 655ce Natural
This 1998 Taylor 655-CE 12-string showcases a large-bodied Jumbo design renowned for its acoustic prowess, I was immediately taken aback by how full, well-rounded and resonant the sound of this instrument was: unreal!
Crafted with a Sitka Spruce top and Big Leaf Maple back and sides, it delivers a shimmering sound and striking appearance. The Maple's distinctive characteristic—its clear, vibrant tone—ensures remarkable presence in any musical ensemble. Equipped with the Taylor Prefix Stereo Blender by Fishman Pickup System, it offers seamless plug-and-play functionality.
This instrument is used, but has been taken great care of: clean back of neck, no major dents/cracks, but there are a couple small dings to the face of the instrument (see the last image, these are cosmetic), light fretware and recently set up by our in-store luthier!
