Teisco EV-2T White, '60s
Often times, we look at the more expensive guitars in the hopes of finding that "magic tone nirvana" that's so cherished amongst guitar players. Flamed maple caps, solid mahogany bodies, maple wings, Brazilian rosewood toggle switches- that search can go on forever, but if you just want to lay back and enjoy the fun of a '60s guitar, there's no better candidate that a Teisco.
Playing this little EV-2T can lead to a loss of time if you're not careful. The pickups have a unique sound- kinda cool and creamy, but if it's dirty and growly you're seeking, it can get there too. Our resident tech extraordinaire, El Jefe went through the guitar and cleaned the controls, set the action and restrung it with fresh strings. His recommendation was not to play it with a heavy hand. Nobody playing Teiscos in the '60s hand a heavy hand.
The pictures pretty much tell the story- there is some obvious wear and dings and scratches on the body. The case does not look to be original and may even be an old Danelectro case, but this is how we got it and this is how it will go out. We'll also pack the guitar "to survive Armageddon," as one client so aptly put it.

All shipping costs can be determined before shipment with a simple inquiry. Items must be returned within 24 hours (of notification of intent to return) in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.
