1950年〜60年代にかけてのビンテージ・ギターに敬意を払い、ギター作りを行うだけでなく、最近ではエレキベースやアコースティックギターと製作の幅も広がっています。
ビンテージフィーリングを持ちつつも、現代のシーンでも使いやすいその弾きやすさは日本の第一線で活躍するミュージシャンにも受け入れられてきました。
本機はPBスタイルであるSTETSONというモデルです。
ボディにスワンプアッシュを使用し、3.8kgという軽量さを実現。またナット幅は一般的なJBと同じくらいで、握り込みやすいネックグリップとなっています。
カラッと乾いたビンテージライクなサウンドでありながら、PBの暴れるようなミドルではなく、グッとまとまった押し出し感があります。
非常にパワフルなサウンドですが、アタックが出過ぎず芯の太さや音圧を感じられるのでアンサンブルの中でも混ざりやすく、且つ存在感を放ちます。
モダン寄りなサウンドやスペックというわけではなく、あくまでビンテージライクな中で現代の音楽シーンにマッチするようなサウンドや弾き心地を実現する、正にTMG Guitarの特徴が反映された1本です！
