1986 Tobias Bass "Natural"

This is a gorgeous example of a very early pre-Gibson Tobias bass. The 4XX serial number indicates that this was made well before the Gibson acquisition in 1990. These basses are a perfect fusion of form and function. The multi-piece neck-through construction and natural finish highlight the craftmanship of luthier Michael Tobias, while brilliant design choices like the radiused pickups and asymmetrical neck offer a very comfortable and natural feel for the player. Tobias basses have a cult following, and it's easy to understand why. This is a great addition to anyone's arsenal!
