Tom Anderson, a handmade brand in California, founded Schecter Guitar Research with David Schecter in the 1970s. It all started when he was dissatisfied with the sound of his own guitars during his high school years. After working in a repair store in Los Angeles repairing guitars and developing pickups, he met David Schecter, who then became his partner in management. Later, in 1986, he introduced the Tom Anderson brand, which realized the basic policy of "the sound that makes the most of the true sound of wood. This 1994 Grand AM is a model with a luxurious lacewood body. This high-end guitar has the potential to respond to all genres, from high-gain to clean, from crisp cutting to jazzy and warm sounds, through various sound-making techniques, while keeping the sound that tends to become hard balanced.
