1997 Tom Anderson Hollow T Classic Contoured As New Transparent Blue
Offered for your consideration is this amazing 1997 Tom Anderson Hollow T Classic Contoured. Despite being a quarter century old, this incredible electric remains in virtually unplayed, as new condition!
This very early era TA has a chambered and contoured basswood body with a highly quilted maple top with top binding. It has a total weight of just 6.4 pounds and has a vibrant 'Transparent Blue' finish. The flawless maple neck has Tom's 'Even Taper' carve with depth measurements of .810" at the first fret increasing to .870" at the twelfth fret. It has a beautiful, almost black Madagascar rosewood fingerboard of a quality no longer available, with a 12" radius, a 1-11/16" nut and heavy frets. The electronics include Tom's own vintage output single coil pickups along with a five-way switch, master volume and master tone.
This thing rings like a bell and plays like proverbial "butta." The smooth satin-finished neck feels great. It sounds superb too; just check out the brief sound sample provided. The light weight makes this a guitar you can play all night long without fatigue. The electronics and bridge on this guitar make it extremely flexible tone-wise. The five-way switch puts both Strat and Tele style tones at your finger tips.
This guitar appears to have been purchased 25 years ago and put away untouched since then. Despite it's age I can find no flaws whatsoever and the nice big frets are spotless as well. It comes in it's original black tolex case, also in superb condition, along with the spec sheet, adjustment wrench and the fretboard protector.

Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included.
