This cabinet came from Studio Instrument Rental, Larry Cragg's instrument and amplifier rental business.  Larry is the go-to guitar tech in Marin County, CA, where he started out at Prune Music, the legendary music store where Carlos Santana tried out his first Randall Smith amp and accidentally came up with the name "Boogie".

Larry worked with countless players, but spent years on tour with Neil Young.  He amassed a collection of vintage instruments and amps, which he leveraged to start a business, renting said instruments and amps.  He had this cabinet made to fit a Fender Tweed Pro chassis.  Larry digs the Pro, but he isn't wild about a 15" speaker for guitar, so he had the cab made for two 12" speakers and loaded it with his favorite - 1960s Jensen C12Ns - with the intent to offer it as a rental.  The project was never finished, so here it sits.

You could use this to house an orphan 50's Pro chassis, as a speaker cabinet, or you could get a Mojo kit to build your own amp and add it to the cab.

The speakers sound great - we tested them.  The cab and tweed are of the highest quality.

Shipping policy:
When you purchase this item you are hereby agreeing to this shipping policy. We remove tubes from amps that could be damaged in shipping.  We remove the chassis from some amps so that the large transformers don't damage a chassis or cabinet.  We remove heavy speakers from some amps so they don't damage baffles.  These cases result in multiple box shipments, and they require the buyer to do some assembly on delivery.  We do this because we have experienced shipping issues in the past, and this is our prevention measure.  Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
