Used FAKE in the style of a “Gibson Les Paul Custom”. The is NOT a real Gibson. Gibson had nothing to do with the manufacture or marketing of this guitar.

This guitar is in very good condition. The neck and frets are fine. Cosmetically it shows almost no playing time.
As many know, there are a number of companies in Asia producing such forgeries.

We here at Imperial Guitar do not condone this practice as some are intended to dishonestly convince a buyer that they are a genuine instrument. In fact, this guitar was sold twice as the real thing to unwitting players who have owned real guitars their whole life.

We do acquire “fakes” from time to time, partially to prevent them from being circulated as authentic. So, we distinctly label each one as a FAKE with laser engraving on the back of the headstock.

That being said, this is a competent guitar that plays well and sounds good, but not a Gibson.

As such we do not have accurate information as to the year of production or the materials used.

Let’s just say, this is a good instrument made in the style of an “LP” and is priced accordingly.
