Journey Instruments OF660 Overhead Carbon Fiber

Summary: Thanks to its patented removable neck system, the OF660M acoustic-electric guitar collapses into a size that's tailor-made for airline carry-on compartments. Its temperature-resistant carbon fiber construction prevents cracking and warping no matter where you take it. Despite its small comfortable body, the Overhead delivers a clear, resonant tone with surprising volume and projection. Its Scoop-away provides easy access to all 20 frets. Experience accurate amplification, thanks to a proprietary under-saddle transducer pickup. The Journey Instruments OF660M Overhead also includes a premium-grade bone nut and saddle, along with ebony bridge pins.

Body: Unidirectional Carbon Fiber top, Fiberglass reinforced Carbon Fiber back/sides, finished in a gloss black.

Neck: Carbon Fiber with a Carbon Fiber fingerboard, 24.5” scale length, 1.75” nut width, 16” radius, traditional “C” shape.

Pickups/Hardware: Grover tuning keys, bone nut/saddle, Ebony endpins, Journey under saddle pickup.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape with just some light surface scratches on the body. The bridge has been sanded down (See Photos Please). The saddle has been shimmed and the truss rod cover is missing.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.

Modifications: It looks like someone has sanded down around the saddle to adjust the action. We had to shim the saddle to raise the action. The truss rod cover is missing.
