The Vantage VS-695B Bass is a great example of quality Japanese craftsmanship. Made in Japan at the famed Matsumoku factory, this bass is solid and plays surprisingly well. It features a maple body and neck with walnut centerline. The rosewood fretboard on the maple neck is comfortable and it's very easy to access the high frets. The tone is deep with a nice high-mid thump that makes this bass perfect for slap-style. One precision-style pickup is placed in the "sweet spot" and provides some nice grit. A brass bridge and nut provide plenty of sustain and stability. The action is nice and low and all strings ring clear. This used bass in in very good condition showing minor wear. Comes with original hardshell case.
