1927 Vega Style N Tenor Banjo

Vega 17-fret Tenor banjo with calf-skin head,

used but essentially original.

Some playing wear evident, but plenty of life left in this war-horse.

A frontier-style peg-head repair is solid and effective, with original

Grover friction pegs with Ivoroid buttons,

although this banjo would benefit from a good set of planetary geared pegs:

The Style N banjo is essentially a Mahogany Vega Little Wonder... Deering's Vega Senator model is derived from this early Vega Model.

Presently strung for "Celtic" tuning.
