This 1998 Gibson L-5 Studio is a striking semi-hollow body electric guitar, finished in a clean white lacquer with simple black binding for a sleek and minimalist look. Designed as a Studio model, it features dot inlays on an unbound fretboard, maintaining a streamlined aesthetic while still offering the legendary craftsmanship of the L-5 series. There is finish checking on the neck and top, giving it a lightly aged appearance. The metal parts exhibit light oxidation or dulling, which may have been intentionally designed for a more vintage look. Adding to its distinctive character is the "Broken Glass" pickguard, a unique feature that enhances its bold visual presence.
