- Robin Stummvoll is a luthier based in Kassel Germany. He has become known for his own unique style of building high-end and sustainable custom stringed instruments. His guitars are built from powder coated sheet metal and locally sourced native timbres. The Cosmo is a 25.5" scale electric guitar with freely movable magnetic pickups, which can be placed anywhere on the sheet metal body. This allows you to get all sorts of highly useable and / or experimental tones out of your guitar. Included are a single volume and blend pot for the utmost flexibility and fine tuning of your guitars tone. Robin winds many distinct styles of pickups. This way if you ever wanted to try out a different wind-pattern, you can easily unplug your current pickup and plug the new one in. No soldering necessary.
This Cosmos features a Gold powder coated finish and upgraded Epoxy Basecoat and Shellac polished neck Finish, Flamed Maple neck with hemispherical fret-ends (also an up-grade) for an overall nice and rounded feel which allows you to play across the entire width of the fingerboard. The frets also have hidden tangs, so they will never protrude or feel sharp from the sides. The pickups in this Cosmo are Verso's SCII in the neck and HB-2 in the Bridge. SCII DESCRIPTION:
The most "zen" pickup I had under my fingers. It's so well ballanced and just a pleasure to play. Compressed jet open sounding – definition in the bass, nice midrange and silky highs. Twang, sparkel, mojo... what ever you call it - the Magnet Mount SC2 got it.

Returns on New items are accepted (unless noted in the description), and must occur within 4 days from when you receive the item.
