This Victoria Chicago-Lux amp is in excellent condition, showing only superficial wear - it clearly has little time on it. It is all original with no changes, repairs, or issues.
The Vibrolux circuit is one of the most desirable and useable amps in the old Fender Tweed lineup. It is an ideal size, weight, and power rating for most players. It'll sound awesome in your living room, rehearsal room or studio - and if your band is at all cooperative, it'll cut it on stage.
The tone is all tweed, and the vibrato is smooth!
This model is built exclusively for Chicago Music Exchange. They are $2200 when new.
The Chicagolux is Victoria's recreation of the classic 1959 "5F11" tweed Vibrolux style amp. The only modern elements are a standby switch, bias-measuring resistors, and adjustment pot. Like all Victorias, only the finest period-correct components are used including USA-made Allen Bradley resistors, custom USA-made Victoria capacitors, solid 22G pushback wire, USA-manufactured Triad-designed power and output transformers, USA-made Eminence 10" speaker and grown in the USA solid pine, hand-tinted cabinetry. The Chicagolux is a virtual trip back in time to one of the greatest small wattage amps ever made.

When you purchase this item you are hereby agreeing to this shipping policy. We remove tubes from amps that could be damaged in shipping. We remove the chassis from some amps so that the large transformers don't damage a chassis or cabinet. We remove heavy speakers from some amps so they don't damage baffles. These cases result in multiple box shipments, and they require the buyer to do some assembly on delivery. We do this because we have experienced shipping issues in the past, and this is our prevention measure. Vintage amps are sold as-is because they can need service intermittently. Everything is tested here in our shop on the way into our inventory, and again before shipping. We will cover shipping damage, but we cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in 20-to-50-plus year old amps. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions. If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com. Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.

Returns accepted if the purchaser responds within 48 hours of receipt of an item and there is a discrepancy relating to the condition or originality of an item. Returns are not accepted for items that do not meet the needs or sonic tastes of clients due to the subjective nature, unless such concern is stated prior to the purchase.
