USED - This very rare Vox Mark III Teardrop was made in the USA 1999 and it plays, feels and sounds like a Fender. It looks amazing and in excellent shape with the original case. The Vox Mark III Teardrop that was made in the USA was first introduced at the 1998 NAMM Winter Show which also included a twelve string Mk XII (teardrop), Mk VI (Phantom) guitars and Mini XII (Mando) guitars.
The Mk III with Bigsby was offered in black, red and ocean green. Shipments commenced in the summer of 1998. Almost 700 guitars were produced between 1998 and 2000 and shipped to Vox dealers around the world. Here is a like to the full story of these very cool and rare US made Vox guitars.
