Vintage Vox V210 Phantom IV Solid Body Electric Bass Guitar serial number 206571.
This bass is a “project bass” and is sold in “as-is” condition. The neck has a bow, and the truss rod is not functioning. Also, the truss rod nut is non-original. The pickguard is heavily cracked and missing small sections, there are nicks, marks, playing wear and finish crazing.
The electronics function normally: 2-way pickup selector, tone control (clockwise is full treble cut), volume control.
The Vox Phantom is one of the 1960's most iconic guitars. The Phantoms were born at JMI in Dartford, Kent in the early '60's however the majority of production came from the Eko guitar factory in Recanti, Italy. Unlike the short-scale very thin-necked layout of most Vox basses these Phantom IV’s are a full 34" scale with a wide neck based on the Fender Precision. The two pickups provide a wide range of tonal options and the vibe to retro cool.
