C. 1930 Washburn 5236 in very good condition. This Tonk Brothers era Washburn has had a neck reset, the bridge has been slimmed, has one repaired center seam crack on top, and has one small repaired crack on the back. The guitar was constructed with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard. The neck has a width of 1 7/8” at the nut, a depth of 0.96” at the first fret, and a depth of 1.30” at the tenth fret. This model 5236 measures 14" across at the lower bout and 10" at the upper bout. The guitar has a 24.50” scale and weighs 3.16 lbs. A lightweight, fine sounding, responsive guitar for both finger and flatpicking. Comes with a gigbag.
