Features and Attractiveness
Made in the workshop in Kapellendorf, Germany, under the leadership of Alexander Weimann. The Passion model has attracted attention since Chris Martin of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (NY Philharmonic since 2016) and John Hagstrom began using it, and it has also been adopted by the Metropolitan Symphony, BBC Symphony Orchestra, and others. It has a smooth entry of breath and light response. Although it is a modern instrument with excellent functionality, the tone is a traditional style rooted in German tradition. It has a graceful sound that can be easily blended with strings, woodwinds, and horns.
