For your consideration, we have a 1926 orchestra-series Weymann banjo with a patented megaphonic rim with an archtop tone ring. It features a patented tailpiece and a patented easy pop-on-and-off resonator with a decorative flange. Other attractive decorative features include wood marquetry along the side of the resonator, engraved vine inlay on the rim, and beautiful floral inlays on the fingerboard and headstock. This is a classic and great jazz banjo with a loud, clear, assertive tone.
This instrument comes complete with the original hardshell case. It is set up in standard plectrum banjo tuning (C3 G3 B3 D4, low to high) with GHS Light Gauge 190 Stainless Steel Plectrum Banjo strings.
