YAMAHAの隠れた名作SB800！
1897年に設立された120年以上に渡る歴史を持つ国内トップブランドYAMAHA。
1970年代半ばに登場し1982年まで製造されたSuper Bassシリーズ。
現在でも続くロングセラーのBBシリーズと比べると短命なモデルではありますが、独特なボディシェイプとタイトなサウンドで人気を誇る隠れた名作と言えるでしょう。
本機SB00はアルダーボディ、メイプル1Pネックのボルトオン構造で、JJタイプのピックアップを搭載。
ネックは肉厚でしっかりとした握り心地です。そのネックの太さはサウンドにも現れ、タイトで芯のある太いサウンドが印象的です。
