Description
Summary: This BB734A 4-string electric bass guitar takes the BB bass platform into the future with a flexible active design that will find its voice in any musical situation. Additional updates include a thinner neck profile that is crowned with new light-weight tuning machines. The 3-piece alder/maple/alder body sings with a balance of attack and warmth. Add the sustain-enhancing 6-bolt miter neck joint and convertible bridge for harmonically rich sustain and the BB734A 4-string is your bass of choice.
Body: Alder/Maple/Alder construction, satin polyurethane finish, translucent matte black.
Neck: 5-piece Maple/Mahogany construction, with a Rosewood fingerboard, 34” scale length, 1.57” nut width, 10” radius, 21 frets, GraphTech Tusq nut.
Pickups/Hardware: Vintage Plus String-thru Bridge with Convertible Brass Saddles, Lightweight Open-gear tuning keys, VSP7n Alnico V Split-coil in the neck position, VSC7b Alnico V Single-coil in the bridge position, 1 x master volume, 1 x pickup balance, 3-band Active EQ, Active/Passive switch.
Cosmetics: This bass has light surface scratches throughout on the body. There is on deeper scuff on the top edge of the body. It is still just a light surface scratch. The pickguard has regular wear. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets are in great shape. Overall, this bass is in great shape and plays very well.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
