YAMAHA" entered a new era with the debut of Terry Nakamoto in 1971.
In the same year that the FG became popular, YAMAHA introduced a lineup of "high-end handmade FGs".
Three models, the FG-1500/FG-2000/FG-2500 (12-string), were released to the world, and as a result, YAMAHA Acoustic became known throughout the world.

The model introduced here is the FG-2000 manufactured in 1974.
It has the original jumbo body of 416mm in width and 127mm in thickness, and the rosette and trim are decorated with a very technical technique called "wood inlaying," which is composed of different types of wood.
The top wood is high-grade Ezo pine, the side backs are made of veneer Hakaranda, and in common with the handmade FG series, the center of the body back is made of maple, giving it a gorgeous look.

The sound is not too aggressive and has a mature impression, while inheriting the traditional FG sound from the red label.
The jumbo body has a heavy bass sound like a resonance of the earth from the resonance of the whole body along with high sound pressure.
The tone amplified in the soundhole is not crowded at all, and it is very exquisitely balanced to produce a wonderful sound.
This is a piece that allows you to enjoy the highest peak of sound that is in no way inferior to traditional acoustic brands.

[Condition.]
The condition of the neck and wood has been inspected and adjusted by a professional acoustic guitar craftsman and is in excellent condition in all areas.
The neck has been straightened and tuned with no chatter or jamming, and the string height at the 12th fret is 2.7mm on the 6th string side and 2.2mm on the 1st string side, which are set for comfortable playing conditions.
The saddle protrusion is approximately 2mm.
