3-Step Lessons:

• Try learning by yourself with the built-in songs on the PSR-E383. Even if you can’t read music or don’t know what keys to play, just practicing along with the three “Listen, learn when the notes sound, and play” steps shown on the keyboard screen will let you take lessons at home and improve on your own.

Keys To Success:

• The Keys To Success function lets you extract phrases that you need to master the built-in songs and practice them one step at a time. This means that you can concentrate on practicing important phrases and difficult points, making learning songs efficient.

AUTOMATIC BACKING MADE EASY

Simply by playing the root note of a chord (or the full chord), the powerful Style features automatically add rhythm, bass, and chordal backing notes to perfectly match the chords you play—easily allowing you to enjoy playing as if you were performing with an entire backing band. In addition, the Auto Chord Play function lets you automatically produce musically appropriate chord progressions and further expand your musical horizons.

Auto Chord Play:

• One of the true pleasures of playing a Yamaha digital keyboard is the fun of playing along with the Style auto accompaniment function, which makes it feel like you’re performing with a band even when you’re playing alone. Smart Chord:

• Using the Smart Chord function lets you enjoy performing with automatic accompaniment from the Style feature, simply by playing the root note (the very bottom note) of a chord—you don’t even have to play the whole chord!

Super Articulation Lite:

• "Super Articulation Lite" is a feature that reproduces the sounds of playing methods that are unique to specific acoustic instruments. For example, if you select a guitar voice, you can realistically reproduce sounds such as guitar distortion and the harmonics of nylon guitar strings.

DSP Effects:

• This PSR-E383 comes with a DSP ("Digital Signal Processor") that allows you to apply a variety of on-board effects such as delay or distortion to the sound and adapt it to your performance. When a Voice that features a recommended DSP setting is selected the DSP effect is applied to the main Voice part.

Arpeggio function:

• Play back arpeggios (broken chords) automatically simply by playing the appropriate notes on the keyboard. For example, you could play the notes of a triad—the root, third, and fifth—and the arpeggio function will automatically create a variety of interesting phrases. This feature can be used creatively in music production as well as performance.

Registration memory:

• Save your favorite Voice and control panel settings so that you can call them up in an instant with the touch of a button, even while playing. No need to search for Voices, Styles and settings!

Rec'n'Share:

• If you want to take a video of your performance and share it on platforms like YouTube, TikTok and so on, Rec'n'Share is the way to go. Connect the PSR-E383 to your smart device, and record both video and audio at the same time to complete your video.

USB Audio Recording/Interface:

• Connect the PSR-E383 to your computer with a USB terminal for audio and MIDI use.

Direct UI:

• When selecting a Voice, Style, or function, you can directly select it using the category button/number button without having to turn a dial.

Duo Mode:

• Duo mode allows two people to play together on the same instrument by creating two middle C notes. Enjoy playing the piano with friends and family!

Song Book:
