This is a super cool made in Japan Yamaha SG700 from 1980! The guitar features a maple top, mahogany body and neck with a rosewood fretboard. The controls are also equipped with push/pull coil split on both of the tone knobs.
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various scratches, scuffs, and dents all throughout the body with additional wear along the back of the neck and headstock. The hardware and pickups are tarnished from over time and the binding has yellowed significantly. The frets are used but otherwise still play great along the neck and the electronics work as they should.
It appears that a couple of the knobs are likely replacements, otherwise this guitar is original.
