Yamaha custom piccolo trumpet short model. 95mm yellowbrass bell. 10.50mm small bore. 4-piston lower spring. Mouthpipe is A/B♭Both with trumpet shank. Silver plated finish. Weight 790 grams (measured) with genuine hard case.
[Condition.]
The valve casing has some flaking on the grips (No.1 and No.4) and the part where the fingers touch (between No.1-2). Minor dent on the top of the bell body. Scratches on the inner edge of the bell. There are other scuff marks. All the felt and water key rubbers have been replaced, and all the tubes have been serviced.

Currently, the only four-piston short-type piccolo trumpet made by Yamaha is the professional model 6810S, and the production of the custom class has been discontinued. Compared to the 6810S (new price: 264,000 yen), which has an edgy and brilliant sound, the old custom model 9810S has a light and clear sound with the precise and soft nuances typical of piccolo. It is a well-balanced instrument with high control performance.
