[Features]
Yanagisawa made this instrument in 1954.the first tenor saxophone,T-3, the last year of production(*). The right hand G trill key, which was equipped on the early model, has been eliminated from the incoming shipment. The strap hook and bell post have been changed to a simple ring shape, but the basic design is the same. Low B, B as in the former American vintage saxophones.♭tone holes are located on the left side as seen from the player's side. The Art Deco style wire keyguard looks like, or rather imitates exactly, The Martin (Committie III) by the Martin Company. The action of the table keys is light for a saxophone of this type, and the controls are easy to use. The pitch balance is also excellent. This is one unit where you can experience the high quality that was provided from the first model.

*After the release of T-3, Low B, B♭T-4 with the tone holes placed on the right side (table key operation is American type) will be produced after the release of T-3.In 1966, the Selmer type T-5 was produced, but since the T-3 in this shipment was manufactured in 1965, we know that it was produced in parallel with the T-4 even after its release.

☆The T-3 was manufactured in 1965, so we know that it was made in parallel with the T-4 even after the T-4 was released.
