Offered for sale:
Just opened 2019 Gibson Chris Cornell ES-335 Tribute-Olive Drab Green number 70 of 250, serial number 109990303.
The original owner purchased one in 2018. He loved it so much he purchased this one in January 2019 and NEVER opened the box. Fast forward to August 2020. We have a couple of cool guitars he wants and trades us his unopened Chris Cornell.
Needless to say, we can’t take in is guitar without inspecting it. So, after a year and a half, on Aug 6/2020, this beauty sees the light of day again. It is, of course, perfect and unplayed. (See photos of Our Founder opening the box and case for the first time ever.) It checks out 100%.
Aside from very limited demo here in the store you will be the first actual player of this rare collector’s item.
Gibson states:
“The voice of a generation, an artist for all time"
Chris Cornell was a modern innovator who left a legacy that transcends genres or expectations. His voice carried a generation into the unknown, but somehow always got us back home. We miss him dearly. When we first partnered with Chris to work on his original Gibson ES-335 Artist Model, it was immediately clear that he also had an innovative eye for guitar design. Features like the aged Lollartron humbucking pickups, clear “no number” top hat knobs, and Olive Drab satin finish, make this guitar one of our most distinct Artist Models to date. The Mother of Pearl Chris Cornell “signature” peghead inlay makes this limited run of 250 pieces an exclusive tribute to the celebrated artist.
Imperial Guitar says:
Here is a rare chance to own a significant signature special edition model. Don’t pass this up!

*Please note: we do our best giving descriptions of used pieces. We have found it impossible to describe every mark on an instrument or amp that is not in the "mint" category. Also, what's important to you may not be important to someone else. For example, you may say, "I don't care what it looks like as long as it plays or sounds well." Another person may say, "Body cosmetics are very important to me so tell me about every scratch, nick and blemish." So, please ask the questions that are most important to you. If you ask they will be answered. They are free and there's no limit. Additional photos can also be made available.
This is a specific item that is also being offered for sale in our brick & mortar location. It is possible that it has just been sold. Please ask if it is still available before purchasing.
*It is our policy to require a signature on delivery of all musical instruments. Please let us know if you prefer no signature required when ordering or we will automatically require a signature.
If you prefer your item to be sent without a required signature Imperial Guitar and the selected carrier can no longer be responsible for the security of the package once it has been delivered.
