Hand-Carved Top & Back Bv John D'Angelico Highly Flamed Maple neck, back & sides Spruce top Extremely Rare Long 14” Scale Deluxe Custom Paganoni Case Excellent Condition Here's a rare treasure from one of the finest luthiers in American stringed instrument history and was featured in the Acoustic America exhibit at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, Arizona, this past year. This mandolin is a joy to hear and a delight to play. The artistry of John D'Angelico is readily apparent. Condition is excellent but there are a few hairline cracks professionally repaired long ago. The beautifully made original 5-ply pickguard shows the earliest signs of decomposition, so it is removed but with the instrument. Includes a custom case by John Paganoni.
Our "Cash price" policy: unfortunately, the credit card companies support "swiped" charges in which the card is physically run through the card reader. Phone-in charges are charged at a much higher rate (to the seller) which can take quite a big chunk out of a high-dollar sale. Thus, for those call-in sales, let's discuss the issue at the time; hopefully, we can figure some way to deal with it.
