*One of only twenty-five Mickey Baker model Les Paul guitars made. Following a small run of about 5 for Japan, only 2 Bakers were initially built in 2000. One for Rudy's Music in New York and another for Chuck Levin's Washington Music. The first owner of this one bought the Chuck Levin guitar unseen in advance. When delivered, it was marked and damaged and so it was returned to Gibson and a replacement ordered. The replacement (this one) was built in a short run of 3 pickup Les Paul 1957 Customs. Included is a list of all the Mickey Bakers built from 2000 to 2003 (last year of production) showing serials and dealer destinations. This was from Gibson records when you could actually phone the Custom Shop!
