Vintage 1963 Gibson ES-330TD Vintage Sunburst w/HSC, Kalamazoo, Golden Era
Presenting a stunning original vintage 1963 Gibson ES-330TD in a Vintage Sunburst finish, adorned with a gorgeous Brazilian rosewood fretboard. This beauty comes complete with a non-original fitted hardcase.
Crafted at the renowned Kalamazoo factory in 1963, our Gibson boasts fully-hollow construction, a maple body, a one-piece mahogany C-shaped profile carve neck, nickel hardware, and a pair of original Gibson P90 pickups.
In terms of condition, our ES-330 exhibits a relatively clean exterior, especially considering its age. There are some signs of play-wear marks and lacquer crazing, yet the instrument remains free from cracks or repairs and functions flawlessly. This vintage Gibson feels and sounds as beautiful as you'd expect, particularly after a professional light fret dress on all 22 original frets, ensuring their longevity.
Over time, certain components have been swapped with modern day equivalents in order to enhance playability, including the harness, all four pots, knobs, and the treble E nylon saddle. However, all other components, including the two sublime-sounding Gibson P90 "Dog Ear" pickups, remain stock. These pickups deliver the authentic bark and bite that are renowned amongst vintage tone chasers, and are hard to replicate even with modern-day remakes.
Interestingly, there appears to be a thin lacquer clear coat applied to the entire rear of the neck, although there are no signs of repairs at either the heel or rear of the headstock when examined under blacklight. We believe this coating may have been applied to achieve a smoother surface, likely at the preference of its previous owner.

Customers are responsible for covering all shipping and insurance expenses for both outbound and return shipments, unless alternative arrangements have been made. Prior to initiating a return, customers must make contact to obtain a return authorisation. Returned items must be in their original condition. Unauthorised returns will be declined and returned at the customer's expense. Returned items are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
