J.W.Black Guitars 2020 JWB-T Soft Aged
This is a Telecaster model from "J.W.Black Guitars" founded by J.W.Black, one of the first senior master builders in the Fender Custom Shop, who laid the foundation for the Jeff Beck models and Clapton models.
This model is not made to order, but J.W.Black himself decides everything from the body color and specs to the degree of aging when selecting the wood, making it a valuable model with a small production run.
The aging process reproduces weather checks and shallow paint peeling on the body edges, giving it a "Journeyman Relic" or "Closet Classic" finish.
The truss rod is top-adjustable, and the bird's-eye maple neck is a narrow C-shape.
Original JWB-JC #2 pickups are installed.
There is a slight discoloration throughout the body, but it is in good condition with little signs of wear, not much fret wear, and no problems with the neck and rod.
