Description

To mark Celestion speakers’ 100th anniversary and our 60+ year relationship, we gave the Studio JTM a special redesign. Featuring anniversary speakers inspired by the very first ones to be purpose-built for the electric guitar, this amp is another instant classic. Available in a limited run of only 100, this is the Studio JTM like you’ve never seen or heard before. This UK made amp comes in a new cream colour with numbered anniversary Alnico Celestion speakers, making it a true collectible. If you ask us, the only right way to celebrate 100 years, is this way. Giving you the power you know and love from Marshall, in a compact size, this limited-edition amp offers players authentic, smooth, and valve-driven break-up at lower volumes – perfect for home or studio use. Although we wouldn’t blame you if you just kept this one on display. The original JTM created a sound that defined a generation, delivering the legendary loud blend of crunch and clean recognised the world over. This new limited-edition version picks up right where the old one left off. Like the original 30W head, Celestion 100 is loaded with two ECC83 preamp valves, two 5881 power amp valves and one ECC83 phase splitter, taking you right back to the renaissance of rock ’n’ roll. Celestion 100 offers the same control and versatility as older models, where simply patching the two channels together opens a world of all-valve tonal possibility. Power switching enables you to change effortlessly between 20W and 5W. You also have access to two loudness controls, meaning you can play as loud as you like. Features such as a DI out and FX loop are also a part of the Celestion 100’s design. Hand built at our world-class factory in Bletchley, England, Celestion 100 features finger-jointed cabinets, hand-welded chassis, hand-soldered potentiometers and valve bases, and the highest quality components. Adorned with period-correct aesthetics including the same metal, red enamel poured “coffin” logo, matched with new white knobs, black panelling and cream covering, Celestion 100 more than lives up to the legacy of the Marshall and Celestion partnership. Together, we don’t just make amps. We make history.

OUTSTANDING MARSHALL SOUND
When Marshall and Celestion join forces there’s only one result; era-defining sound. The Celestion 100 continues this legacy by featuring special anniversary speakers that take direct inspiration from the first ever speaker to be purpose-built for the electric guitar. Now you can unleash a vintage tone that’s full of character every time you play. You'll be defining the next music era in no time.

ICONIC STYLINGS
It’s not every day that you get to celebrate a 100th anniversary so we had to design another amp that would go down in history. This limited-edition Studio JTM features the finest componentry. Its design incorporates some of the classic elements you know and love, such as the solid metal, red enamel poured ‘coffin’ logo. But we’ve also taken things up a notch, by adding details such as the all-new white knobs, a black panel and a cream covering. The Celestion 100 really is the cream of the crop, in every sense of the expression.

POWERFULLY COMPACT
The smaller scale of Celestion 100 gives players the power of the authentic Marshall tone, in a more compact design. This limited-edition Studio JTM is significantly smaller and lighter than its 30W counterpart, making travelling and gigging a breeze. You’ll never have to compromise on sound even if you go down in size.

FULL VINTAGE SOUND FOR THE SMALL STAGE (LOW WATTAGE)
Celestion 100 has built-in power reduction technology, enabling players to switch between 20W and 5W. With this limited-edition Studio JTM, any guitarist, in any environment, can achieve the defining sound of the original JTM, whether that’s at home or on stage. Celestion 100 is equipped with Alnico speakers that handle greater power. This gives you additional low-end grunt that complements the warm and vocal mid-range crunchy upper.

HANDMADE IN THE UK
Made in the Marshall UK factory, Celestion 100 is built with the same expert craftsmanship, in the same factory, that has been manufacturing amps since the late 60s. Faithfully assembled, Celestion 100 features finger-jointed cabinets, hand-welded chassis, hand-soldered potentiometers and valve bases, as well as the highest quality componentry. We assemble each Celestion 100 by hand so you can feel the heart and soul of Marshall every time you play.

PLAYED BY THE ARTISTS YOU LOVE
Over 60 years ago, the JTM started it all, creating an iconic sound that changed the game forever. With such a rich heritage it’s no surprise that the JTM had so many famous owners, icons such as Jimi Hendrix, Angus Young, Joe Bonamassa and Gary Moore to name a few. It’s now your turn to be a part of history with Celestion 100, the limited-edition makeover of the Studio JTM.

ADDED DETAILS
Celestion 100 comes complete with an FX Loop, DI out, and the ability to blend voices with a patch cable. This allows external effects, such as reverb and delay, to be placed in the ideal position in the signal chain after any added distortion. Celestion 100 also has a new DI output feature, providing players the ease of connecting directly to a recording device or PA system. To access both voices simultaneously, a short jumper cable can be run between the two voice inputs.
