Built by the late Steve Helgeson of Arcata, CA, this jumbo box has a bear-claw spruce top and cocobolo back and sides, with a wide spalted maple rosette. It's 16 ½" wide and its widest point, 4 ½" deep at the butt end, with a 1 ¾" nut width and 2 ¼" spacing at the bridge. The neck is a sleek, thin "C" shape and the tone is a very appealling punchy and deep combination. There's a couple of hairline cracks at the butt end and a Fishman under-saddle pickup has been installed.
Our "Cash price" policy: unfortunately, the credit card companies support "swiped" charges in which the card is physically run through the card reader. Phone-in charges are charged at a much higher rate (to the seller) which can take quite a big chunk out of a high-dollar sale. Thus, for those call-in sales, let's discuss the issue at the time; hopefully, we can figure some way to deal with it.
