One of the earliest electrics, National called it an Electric Spanish Guitar, probably to differentiate it from the lap steels that came before. It must have been an amazing experience for guitarists of the time! Its top is laminated spruce and there are no sound holes, so it was a precurser to the solid body guitars that came almost a decade later. Memphis Minnie played one for years, as can be seen in most photos of her.
Our "Cash price" policy: unfortunately, the credit card companies support "swiped" charges in which the card is physically run through the card reader. Phone-in charges are charged at a much higher rate (to the seller) which can take quite a big chunk out of a high-dollar sale. Thus, for those call-in sales, let's discuss the issue at the time; hopefully, we can figure some way to deal with it.
